Recruit

On Renegade you use to be able to hit ~ then type exit and the game would quit. Also when you said like I dunno, Affirmatave by doing CTRL + 7 the would be an ! above you head but its not there! Where these removed?

No, it's the other way around, those commands were not default, but got added by a modified scripts.dll. You can download the most recent version here:

How come I use to be able to do them but not anymore? Also where should I place the DLL?

If you do not yet have a scripts2.dll, rename your scripts.dll to scripts2.dll. Then copy bhs.dll and scripts.dll from the archive to your renegade directory (not in data).

i am having a problem with renguard, it keeps on saying that i am using something called a LAN-hack, firstly: what the hell is this and second: why does it keep doing it?

First of all try not to hijack other peoples topics.
Second of all it will be a false-positive. Ignore it and continue playing.
