Ok i don't understand how being in an mrl and killing 3 people at the same time that were all in the same spot is cheating. Now i am friggen banned from unrules-gsa?? This is bullshit and I want someone to unban me cause I have played for 2 years and I don't cheat and I never have.

if youve ever been in GSA lobby theres usually around 10-15 people per day that bitch about how shitty unrules is. My advice, just stay away from there.

I'm sure it was just a misunderstanding. Just tell them the situation there and they will unban you.
If you know the name of the person that banned you, let me know and I can tell the other UN guys that this person made a bad mistake and we will make sure it doesnt happen again, OK?

They're hurting for players. It was probably tthom that banned him in the first place. And probably because he wanted the MRL or something. I think the most accurate comment in this thread so far is that the mods sucks. That says enough right there.

Not really, it depends on what the situation was, who was there to witness it, if any, and the maturity of the person asking. If someone goes to UN and says, "Look, I just killed a few people standing next to each other with an MRL, could I get unbanned?", we'll take that person seriously. Of course, if someone comes in there and starts with "OMFG UN UR MODS ARE TEH SUX AND U NOOBS GET PWNED IN A MRL ITS NOT MY FALT LOL UNBAN PLZ XD XD XD XD!!"... yeah, were probably going to leave you banned.
And I know you all are entitled to you opinion, but Im going to lay out a fact for you right now. tthom NEVER bans anyone to get an MRL. Thats ridiculous. Its just that theres a surprising amount of ego running through Ren and for some people, being banned is taken personally to a level Ive NEVER seen in a game. These people think UN is supposed to be perfect or something and we never ban by mistake, so to them a ban means we just like being assholes. Not true.

I have had my ups and downs with UN, and it finally got so bad that I literally stopped playing there ... ever. And I told everyone I knew not to play there.
I have been kicked, banned, talked down to, etc. by a variety of admins there. But tthom takes the cake. It just not a server I would call "fun" nor a server I would say is moderated respectfully.

I don't know the conditions surrounding your case, but a majority of our Ban On Sights are usually people that come in, complain repeatedly about our servers while theyre in them, crap on UN repeatedly, are obvious cheaters, or come into our forums and start badmouthing the server, the members, the mods, or all of the above. You wouldnt want someone coming in to your servers and your forums and doing that just because of the way you run your server, right? Its the same with us. Apparently, not wanting assholes in our servers rubs people the wrong way.
The problem is, people dont want to get along with UN. Ive been in their clan for almost 3 years now, and Ive never met a nicer bunch of people online. Its not hard to be on their good side. We're not a bunch of kids, most of us are middle aged, and just want to come on and play some Ren without having to worry about shitheads, cheaters, and hackers.
Im sure youve all had your history with UN, and if we've done something to legitimately wrong you, then explain your case and all is forgiven. We arent a bunch of punks looking to abuse some mod rights, we really enjoy people playing on our servers and want to keep the servers clear for everybody. Its a tough job and mistakes are made, Im sure, just know we arent being asses on purpose.

So what your saying is you dont want people like your stff playing in the servers?
Ive played in UN a couple of times, and left due to mods just being total assholes to players. Ive seen numerous times people getting banned on UN server because simply someone foiled a rush the mod/mods had planned.
But yet you say you dont want assholes on your servers. I suggest getting rid of your staff, or some of them to make your statement true.

Well, I dont take too kindly to fuckup mods ruining UN's good name. If someone is abusing their powers and kicking for fucked up reasons, show ME some proof and I'll have the bastards hung. We need mods, but if the guys we got are hurting our rep in the Ren community, theyll get the boot.

I'm sorry to ruin your illusion here mate. Heres an example,
I'm playing with DaN#GW in your normal server, as he usually does, he gets an apache (which he is very good in btw) and starts nailing the usual idiots who can't tell a ramjet from an autorifle. One complains he is cheating, and Fooker bans Dan from IRC, hes not in the fucking game himself, if thats not shit moderating i don't know what is. Besides the fact you enforce a no swearing rule and one of your moderators is called Fooker. How original.
Don't get me wrong, i have no problem with the actual server, its just your claim that the moderating is good when it is clearly shite. You think that so many people in the Renegade community would hate your server for no real reason?

Would you prefer it mod-less and ripe with cheaters??? Clearly, there are only so many who play our servers regularly and CAN moderate it at all. Im not saying they are all perfect. Fooker is not in UN anymore, as far as I know, it was because of his poor modding. But for every person he wronged by banning, he executed several legitimate bans from cheaters. (We had the 'no-swearing' clause before he joined, btw. And really, is it so hard not to type out YOU MOTHERFUCKER! if you get hit?)
And AGAIN Im saying, people seem to have some big egos around here, when its clearly easy to go to our forums to the Wrongful Bans thread and state your case and get unbanned. But people take it personal. Its unreal.
There are still cheaters all over Ren regardless of Renguard. We havent locked RG in pure mode so that people having trouble with it, or people with skins, can still play, but that allows cheaters in. Its to the point now at this stage in the game where its hard to tell the cheaters from a pro that just stopped in and happens to be ace at everything.
UN is sorry for any wrongful bans that it inflicts. We have a forum just so people can state their case. I understand it sucks having to go to a forum and go through all the steps to get unbanned when you just want to play. But unfortunately, with UNRULES history of cheaters, we've grown skeptical of anything that looks amiss. So if youre really good and we have to make a decision about whether or not you're a cheater, and we make the wrong one, WE ARE SORRY. We didnt mean it. We're just trying to make the server fun for everyone. We dont think 'youre better than us' and want you off the server. We just want it to be fair.
Thats all I got to say really, I wont continue hijacking stressmom's thread. If you want to continue to hate UN, go ahead, but dont hate us just because we're overly careful of our server integrity.
