Is this the best half of you can come up with? "He's been an asshole on these forums." WOW, who gives a fuck? I don't see how being a prick is anything worthy of a ban. He offended you, well get over it. If you're that easily offended, the Internet is not for you.

If you actually have a legit reason as to why Aircraftkiller should be banned, I'm obviously not talking to you, so don't bother stating that you have an actual reason besides his assholish actions on these forums.

I voted yes.

I tried to like ack. I always said, he has done a fair bit for this community, made some good maps, developed the most successful mod for this game etc.
But he is always putting crap on people. In the ways of a grammar nazi, putting people's work down, leaking mods. He's a fire starter.
Most of all, he says he hates this game. Then why is he here? Why does he continue to linger here, put crap on a great game most of us love, put people down, and spread hatred and shit around the community.
To me, he should just piss off.

To all those that are his friends or are close to ack. Be warned and be wary. I thought ack and crimmy were close friends too, she always gave him the benefit of the doubt, even put him above the communities best interests sometimes. Well i was obviously wrong. For someone to do all of this to a close friend, then there is the chance he may do it again. Who knows how many of you he has IRC conversations saved.

Anyway, if ack claims he doesnt care about this place. He wont really give a shit if he doesn't come back.

My two cents.

Острокомедийно! Я противоречу.

However, I must ask. Is this simply a ban from the Public forums, or a ban from NS servers, NS forums, etc? Also, doesn't he hold moderator status in both this forum and the n00bstories forum? Just want to make sure what I'm voting for.

Aircraftkiller didn't do anything to Crimson. Crimson's at fault here, but she's too arrogant to face that, so she's spent the last couple of weeks trying to make someone else the bad guy - myself, Aircraftkiller, etc. And apparently, some people are gullible enough to swallow it.

I removed the last remnant of his power in NS (op in IRC) at the first hint of his betrayal. He hasn't been back by choice and I'm fine with that.

Holding the most private details of my life that I trusted to a friend hostage and blackmailing me with them is CERTAINLY under the "anything" category. Blazer outlined a number of things that those logs contain that should not get out.

It's very obvious that if anyone else gave him a password to something, their address, phone number, picture, complained about their personal life, or anything else that they considered private information, they should be shitting themselves right now.

if the most private things in your life are cw versus you then you're fucking pathetic... because that's all i threatened to expose, as well as anything else you did that wronged this community

shall i bring out the e-mails we made so you'll stop lying to cover your ass?

i never once threatened to give out any of your personal information... because i don't have it and i wouldn't give a shit about it to begin with. so why bother? the only thing i was interested in was justice and it's not served by sinking down to the shit level you're at

Uhh, there are over 2000 logs, do you really think there is no personal information contained in them?

Just off the top of my head, I imagine the logs contain such juicy tidbits like:

1. Renguard information (protocol specs, passwords, etc)
2. Crimsons family life (serious private things)
3. Crimsons love life (I'm sure she at least talked to him about me)
4. Passwords to who knows what (Ack was a member of BHS and was trusted with lots of private information)
5. Info on acks private life

Thats just the tip of the iceberg. I'm sure that even Crimson herself cannot imagine the things the could be contained in over 2000 logs of private conversations. Uploading those to "the internet" was a really shitty thing to do, if not outright illegal.

Oh, correction on the "less than half" number. I looked in the zip file, and the number of logs... about 145. That's all...

That 2000 went down far.

i doubt there are 2,000 conversations between her and i. realistically speaking it's more like 800 at most. probably less.

for being a friend she sure didn't talk much over four years. i suppose so long as i didn't bite her for the shit she pulled, it didn't matter what i did since i had already put her into a position of power.

hmm... let's see

she was a nobody before i started promoting her. talking about how good she was in-game. how much of a team player she was. getting people to rally around her.

then suddenly she's got a new site... who else but me stands by her when she creates it? maybe someone else. i can't remember. i don't care that much anymore

as far as i'm concerned it doesn't take much to realize that i put her where she is now, and there's nothing i can do about her except expose the shit she's done.

sure, maybe i'm a "nobody" too.. but at that point i had a massive amount of influence in C&C's community and it didn't take much to get people to do what i wanted. looking back now it was all a waste. and so was supporting her.

i wonder where she'd be now if i hadn't

So your saying that ack abusing people, putting their work down, leaking mods, creating tensions in the community is not wrong? If you dont think its wrong, then how can you expect people to believe what you say. Regardless, i make my own decisions and perceptions on topics. On the one your talking about, i have made my decisions, and from the way you have put your last post, it justifies my decision, and im glad. Calling someone gullible for having their own opinion on a matter is quite childish and aggressive.

Grow up...

Coolrock, for me he was an awesome dood back in the WW days.

But the "cats" accident, his constant attack on mod newbies, the entire anti-reborn crap, abusing Crimson's trust and spaming the forums with crap, attacking people. And thats just a small part of why i think that he should be banned.

For me, Renegade is the last C&C Game by WestWood.
I love the game, i enjoy visiting these forums, i enjoy reading people's oppinion on anything thats happening and i enjoy helping people even with the smallest things.

What i DONT enjoy is reading crap, because the people producing it do it just because "they can".

That is why, because of his past actions, I think that Aircraftkiller should be banned from this forum.

Coolrock, that is why I think that Ack should be banned.
I don't understand what stupid you find about that. Just look around the other C&C Websites and point me to a forum where people flame eachother and DONT get banned.

Crimson is where she is now from her own hard work, her dedication, and support for others (the list would go on but I would not want Crimson to catch the big-head hack Razz). Not because AircraftKiller said she was a good team player in a few games of renegade. Even if her position was a direct promotion of AircraftKiller (which I doubt it was), eventually you have to prove that you've got the goods; Crimson has done that 10 times over.
