how can we help you do it by typing it? park near entrance of building, go and throw c4 on front of vehicle, go and refill, put another and keep on doing this just don't wait 30 seconds after you threw your first one....

Thanks for the info pirate, I kinda got it...but not to the extent that I wanted. I got around 18 timed c4 on it, but I've seen people get 50+. Do I do Throw, E-5, X(180 turn), throw, e-5, ect?

Then get a rhythem going. Click, "E", "5", Click, "E", "5", Click, "E", "5", Click, "E", "5", Click, "E", "5", Click, "E", "5", Click, "E", "5"
Do it as fast as you can, to other people you will just be spitting out c4.
it looks really odd.

proxies are pointless, even if you forget about the criminal waste of the mine limit - one proxy does 30hp damage, that means you would need to get 27 to explode to take out a flame tank. Also it will take you years to load up your apc with enough to do anything and once you have hit one thing you will have to go back.
I have driven a properly flamed apc straight through a whole row of flamers, in comparison a timed c4 will do up to 400 hp damage.
Just remember to check the rules before you try it as some servers don't allow you to flame, if you are unsure check with a mod.
It's all down to practice to get more on, you don't really NEED 50 as long as they are exploding regularly, also check your mouse sensitivity and fiddle with it to make it a little easier.
EDIT: also just thought, it's pretty funny (works best in large games and especially on rush maps) to flame the inside of a building right at the start of a game (hon on islands usually works well) you will usually see a stream of enemy inf pouring out of the tunnels charging in to your building, followed by a few "boink's"

Not really...to other people looks like I'm just throwing out random c4, not pileing them ontop of eachother...is it some sort of script?

I've heard that some people use the ?x? button (which ever one flips you 180 degree's) so that they just e,5,x,click,x then repeat, I find it easy with the mouse so just do it that way, there may be some way of utilising a script but I have never come across one.
Pretty sure XILDJ did it manually think he would have mentioned if he had found a script as he was always pretty protective of his flaming apc.

Park the APC near the PT and look at the PT, then hold V and keep it held down, then press X to face the other way still holding down V for the time period you wish to use it. Since you're now facing away from the terminal (yet renegade thinks you are facing towards it (if you still have V held down)), press E and press 5, then click, then E, 5, click, E, 5, click so on and so forth untill you have a desired ammount of C4 on your vehical.
Remember, DO NOT to let go of V or the effect will be broken and you will have to start again.
Tips:
Point the reticle up a little bit while facing the PT so you can get some distance with the arched throw of the C4.
Keeping the mouse still will make the C4's pile one ontop of the other.
Moving the mouse (still keeping V held down) you can change where the C4 is placed on the vehical, this will diminish highly visible "tails" on your vehical.
This is an engine limitation and is a glitch, it is not a cheat of any kind, what-so-ever.

As for people that use flaming apcs (which would explain why you consider your server is a festival for nubs)........flaming ACPs are for n00bs. Any pro player can figure out a way to turn the tide of a battle. It takes one n00b who learns how to do 'flaming apcs' to ruin a good tank fight.
Generally, I stick to the following rules: "If it can be done in real life it should be allowed". Harv walking, sure. Buddy jumping, sure. Ob-dodging, sure. Ob-glitching/walking, no. Flaming apcs, no.

Renegade isn't even a game based on real life. How?
1) Most servers (99% of them) have friendly fire ooff
2) Repair Guns? wtf, Never seen those in RL..
3) WTF is Tiberium in real life?
4) Can somone explain to me, how you can cary unlimited ammo in pistols or repair guns? o.0

There's a setting for friendly fire, which probably would have been default if people weren't dumb, do a flaming APC with friendly fire on, see how long you last. You may also try doing this in real life, just for funzies
