My schools requires this to log onto its network. Problem is that it causes me to lag. It is the only thing left that can cause it.
I will be playing fine for 15-20 minutes and then out of nowhere my ping just goes through the room. Sometimes well over 6k. Then after maybe 15-20 minutes it goes back down. This is during all hours of the day.
I have looked up the issue and people have the same problems. Is there anyway around it?

My school uses this program as well. I thought the lag I got in Renegade there was from them not setting up a Renegade partition in the packetshaper, but since the ResNet forum disappeared, and I never got a reply to my PM before that happened, I didn't get an answer. Hopefully, if I waste an afternoon on the other end of the campus trying to have them explain and fix this, I won't be randomly hitting pings of 800 anymore.
Edit: funny note, if I do the dslreports.com speed test at night there, I get a huge upload and a regular download for a shared student network, and it thinks the connection's been tweaked.
