I had my old PC for long time now and it was starting to run slow, so I decided to reformat. I saved all my data on secondary hard disk, then reformatted the primary HDD, and started to install Windows 98.
Now, I bought my computer at Compu Canada, and I think there was supposed to be some manual for windows that comes with the computer, but I can't find it anywhere, and since the Serial Number is on the Manual, I am pretty much screwed.
So I was wondering if any of you know where to get a Serial Number for windows 98. Or, if there is anything else that I could do.
I know that this might be illegal, but I consider Windows 98 a junk that is no longer supported by Microsoft and I plan to replace anyway, but I still want to use it for now.
Thank you for your help.

I just found my real Serial Number, so now I would like to ask if I should re-install Windows and put in my real Serial Number, or leave as it is.
Of course, if there are other ways to change the windows serial number without re-installing, I am open to any suggestions.
