hi all,
when i lauch my linux FDS server :
Renegade Server Wrapper 0.3 (c) 2003-2004 by Blackhand Studios
Opening TCP Port 4853
Using scripts.so for Redhat 8.0
Started Server with pid 23077
Renegade Free Dedicated Server v1.037 GU-838 03/01/2003 - 19:00:34
Console mode active
Linux Scripts Patch v0.01 enabled Renegade version.
- Initializing scripts.so patch!
- Scripts relocation offset: 0x00000000
- Original built-in script count: 1635
- Total script count: 2237
- Linux Scripts Patch succesfully

it's ok i think, but ingame when i type !help or other command the bot don't answer... and i can't acces to moderator commands...
how to acces to mod command ingame or with other programs ? like Renrem ( doesn't work with LFDS ?!? )

if you try to send a msg from your own telnet
(for this start -> Command-> write here the SERVERIP + RenremPort sample("127.0.0.1 4853") and press OK, then it should give you a Welcome to the... , here enter the renrempassword and then try a simple "msg hi" ) does that work for you?

i lauch renrem, i type the password, but NOTHING !
is it a special renrem ? linuxrenrem or other ? is it macrem ? if yes, where can i download it please ?

as you see he is running with wrapper 0.3
and CFGPower as you see i gave you a simple tutorial how you do it
(for this start -> Command-> write here the SERVERIP + RenremPort sample("127.0.0.1 4853") and press OK, then it should give you a Welcome to the... , here enter the renrempassword and then try a simple "msg hi" )
and for renrem it is not supported on linux.

wie du siehst, läuft er mit Verpackung 0.3 und CFGPower, da du mich siehst, gab dir einen einfachen Tutorial, wie du es tust (für diesen Anfang - > Befehl - > den Bediener hier schreiben IP + RenremPort Probe („127.0.0.1 4853“) und O.K. betätigen, dann sollte sie dir ein Willkommen zu geben… , das renrempassword hier betreten und einen einfachen „Msg hallo“) und für renrem wird er nicht auf linux gestützt

in windows, that shouldn't work as there is an encription. that is why you have to use FDSTalk.dll

the17doctor you never had an linux fds server ?
Well if you had one then you would know that the LFDS doesnt support Renrem and only macs renremreplacement his lfds wrapper which doesnt have any encryption.
