why can't i start the FDS from the command line? it wil start, get 2 lines of output from it then it quits.

try reverting back to the original RenegadeServer.exe

never mind, i didn't change the renegadeserver.exe.

anyway you have to start the server when the command line is in the direcictory that renegadeserver.exe is in.

when you install CP1, it changes hte RenegadeServer.exe, lol and ive had problems executing that exe via Shell()

i used:(c++) ShellExecute(GetDesktopWindow(), "open", "path to renegadeserver.exe", NULL, "path to the server folder", SW_SHOWNORMAL);

and it works fine
