today, as most of you probably know, xwis has been at a rubbish connection for renegade. but what i want to know is, has this just been happening to renegade, or is it happening to all games that use WOL?

Primarily just Renegade because Renegade is the only game that relies on the master server while you're ingame. When you launch a RTS game you actually leave the master server and just reconnect and report data back to it when your game is over.

I'm talking about the current state of XWIS. I'd rather use GameSpy, TASE, or just direct connect to servers that I know instead of crashing out of game every 10 minutes. Probably the only enjoyable game that can be played in 10 minutes is a game of sniping.. and that's only if you like to snipe, which a lot of people don't.
Don't think I'm blaming this on Strike-Team though.. I'm not that retarded to not understand the problem but I was under the impression that when XWIS first went up that they were hosting the servers.
