This may sound prettty stupid and im SURE there is an answer somewhere but.. i cant find out how you change the team names (GDI and Nod) as well as the yellow and red colours in the top right hand corner, i wanted to start a mod with different teams but if it still says GDI and Nod up there, it will look pretty bad 
oh, and i have replaced all the strings with 'GDI' and 'G D I' in them with the team name i want, and it didnt work, same goes for Nod.

You actually have to edit the strings and not just their names. At the moment your just renaming the strings making the game unable to find the one it's looking for because you have renamed them. I don't know much about editing the strings but i know you need to change their values in the strings.tdb file. There is a feature in LevelEdit to edit them if you have excell installed.
