It would be more beneficial if said n00b repaired himself and didn't waste 10 minutes doing nothing except spamming, expecting someone else to waste their time on him/her and all they gotta do is !bl the tank and they get the points for repairing.

I agree, but on servers like n00bstories, there is no !bl feature. A lot of the time (Especially in APCs or Humvees), I don't have an Engineer or Hotwire. Usually I lug around a Gunner or PIC Syndey or something in those cases. If the barracks is down, I'm not about to give up a PIC Syndney when there are three Hotwires sitting around me with nothing to do.
Renegade is still a team-based game. A little helping out your teammates won't hurt. I always stop and repair any wayward vechs when I can. Is it so wrong to expect the same in return?

with the situation i was in: yes;
as we had all our buildings, there werent many on their team.
they werent assaulting us so it wasnt like repairs were desperately needed.
it was on mesa so we had the agt defending us, all he had to do was quickly run to a pt and get an engi/hottie.
and yes, we were on a server where !bl worked.
in other situations i'd say no(say like they were rushing and repairs needed to be done simultanious to defending)

I play almost exclusively on n00bstories, where the server is always full (20 per team), and !bl hasn't been implemented.

that day i was GDI playing on Under, trefinery was destroyed, i had a med tank, and after killing so many enemies to buy a mammoth, i left my med for someone to take it nd b4 i even reached my new mammy some noob takes it nd destroys my previous med, nd den got it destroyed b4 it even reached the ENEMIES BASE
ppl when u buy a tank ur frickin money goes down if ur money doesnt go down after buying a tank then ITS NOT YOOOUUURS

also, it will say at the top 'purchase request granted' (or something similar) and a default sound of havoc sayin "keep 'em comin'"
n00bs dont notice this though, and will get a tank that they havnt bought.
i had some n00b before in a server who, as soon as i got out an orca to repair it, jumped straight in it and was hesitant about giving it back.

sometomes though, it happens by accident, like a typo, as the E is right by the W.
it's quite funny actually, cos someone made this mistake on walls once. i was NOD, and we were pinned down by orcas, so i decided to get an apache to slow down their attack, and i beat them off quite well. but on of their drivers pressed E, and was hgh enough off the ground to die. so one of my teammates repairs the empty orca, gets in it, and me an him go for the ref. what he did was, he nuked the ref roof while i covered him. so with me and him covering the nuke, it was bye-bye refinery.
it goes to show, one little mistake could ruin an entire game for ypu lol

Other thing that is hateful:
15vs15 in a map with base defense, be the ONLY 1 using a vehicle, the others are low chars , ore SNIPING in tunnel!
Moding can be real Fun...
