I need to buy a laptop for college, I am learning to drive atm so money is really tight - got about £300. Any ideas for a good place to buy a budget laptop??

Oh I am in England btw, so US companies aren't much help Sad

(19" LG LCD monitor = £80 = BARGIN!!)

300 £ is REALLY tight budget, mate. I'm afraid that apart from 2nd hand stuff, you won't get much :-S. Usually you'd need at least 500 to get anything a bit worthwhile.
