I might have used a too strong word for this, but what you trying to say, cause this is my server, you do as I say or elas.

I hate server owners who go by that, it shouldnt be like that, yes they have that right to say that as they own it and maybe put money towards it, but that doesnt mean they are right or just to say that.

Who are you to say what's right or wrong for a server owner? It's soley your opinion. You do what you think is right, and others will do what they think is right. Just because the ideas may clash doesn't mean that one opinion is the absolute.

I'm not saying server owners SHOULD do whatever they want no matter how ridiculous, but what makes them wrong in doing so? Nothing.

If you don't like certain rules, then don't play on the servers with said rules. If you want to play on those servers, swallow your pride, join, and respect the wishes of the server owners.

The rule for no swearing is not an outrageous one. It's a fairly simple and common rule. I wouldn't run a server with that rule, but it's nothing that changes the game. You're still playing Renegade whether or not you're allowed to swear. Swearing is not an essential part of the game, therefore, disallowing it doesn't harm the game. Plus, we could all use a little restraint in our vulgar vocabulary.

I totaly agree on alot of what you just said.

But I think that making such a rule is outrageous is cause there isnt any laws against people swearing, unless you go over the top and get nicked by a cop for disturbing the peace.

Most people who are for the no swearing rule says its to protect the kids who are watching or playing, well they shouldnt be watching or playing anyway, as the game has a 15+ age rating (my country) and as the game is full of death and all about killing... makes no swearing seem abit silly.
