I play on Xphaze server all the time- except I lose connection for some wierd reason alot when I have a 68 ping Dont Get It

I don't play it anymore, but that's because I'm 'banned' from XWIS and don't know any servers to direct connect to. But I do still make stuff...

I still play, but right now I'm trying to make maps and model. If you look in the mod forum- you can tell I need ALOT of help. I usually play Renegade in the mornings and at night- in the day I go outside.

The Renegade Community varies.

You have the people that come and go within a week or so.

Then you have the dorks that have been playing it since the start. Razz

Those people are where the core of the game's community is.. really the only reason it's lasted as long as it has.

Only problem is, it's getting old and begs for new content
(And not just maps and crates! I'm talkin vehicles and weapons too! dang it!)

But yeah, it's not easy making a patch to deliver those things... still it would be kickass.

(And I don't know how you guys can even bear to play single player for a second, it's friggin terrible... Yuck.)

I've just about had enough of Renegade as a whole, it seems since it transferred over to XWIS it seemed to get more laggy, i can't get to any server without 250 ping. Although when i get a server lower than that, my fps suffers, so i'm laggy either way.

I've moved onto ZH really, only till C&C3 comes out. In Love

Sure, I still play Renegade. I did try Counterstrike and Battlefield but neither did anything for me so I started playing Renegade again every time within a month. I just can't seem to get away from it...

What about Gamespy? Also, have you tried asking server owners or moderators about getting IPs to directly connect? From previous experience, I'm sure Crimson won't mind giving you the IP for her server.

Well, I was playing frequently again... but then my sister cooked the DSL modem by stacking a bunch of shit on top of it and leaving it on all night. My connection options right now are dial-up and wireless- neither of which is reliable or fast enough to play anything besides Starsiege. So no, I'm not playing Ren actively just now.

I play... once a week maybe, or every couple.

Cramming a few hours of Renegade can be a nice stress reliever. It's like a personal therapist, but much more fun.

To those of you playing this game night and day, 24/7, don't forget to eat and piss, and oh yeah, and try to keep some semblance of a social network (in real life). Meh, probably not possible; just remember to get out of your chair once every few hours.

Well, I definitely still play Renegade when I'm not busy doing something else (which is quite often). You'll probably find me playing at my clanserver.

I also mod Renegade, I make sounds for C&C Reborn.

I'm actually one of the Renegade oldies, I've been playing the game since the Renegade demo, which is about four and a half years ago.

I have a lot of the newer FPS games, and an Xbox360, but I often find myself coming back to C&C Renegade after playing a different game. Call me crazy, but I think Renegade is one of the most unique multiplayer experiences ever.

Still surprised no other game really pulled off a "c&c mode". CTF and DM get way too boring.
