Is there a file that can be deleted so when you click on the Renegade icon, you skip the 2 intro movies and go straight to the main menu. Hopefully this will eliminate the need for the CD.

you dont need the CD if you download core patch 2, the .exe is modified to not require the CD.

When you load renegade it will say please insert the CD. Click cancel and it lets you play anyway Wink

To stop the startup video and conformation of quiting servers and the game go to:

Start > Run > "regedit" > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Westwood > Renegade > Options

Then you can edit cirtain options from this registry key. The option "IntroMovieSkipAllowed" if you double click it and change the value to "1" it will stop showing the intro movies. "SkipAllIntroMovies" will skip all of them. Same with quit conformation, change "SkipIngameQuitConfirmDialog" and "SkipQuitConfirmDialog" to "1" and they wont ask you if you want to quit when you do.

Its probably just not using the Cd and running the Patch or CP2, Unless its from the first decade.

Run Renegade without a Disc, it will say that there is no Renegade CD. Then click on "Cancel".

theres a modified config.exe to change those options as well

If I download Renegaurd from Rengaurd.com, will it also include the new core patch?

If it does then that kind of stinks, because I downloaded Renegaurd from Rengaurd.com only a few days ago.

Simply download my game.exe. It skips all movies, you dont have to click on anything to get into the main menu.

You can disable Updates in Renguard.

Chickens are disabled by default. But however, you can make a serversided mod with ssaow 1,5 for example and replace a specific character with the Chicken. Then everybody can buy it and have fun.

The chickens 3rd person view is shown on the picture, the 1st person view is just as a normal Unit. The Chicken has a Chemsprayer Weapon.

If you are using ssaow 1,5 on a server then DON'T set the CnC_Chicken as the default Startcharacter! This will crash the server! But if this isn't ironic enough (because the Chicken is a playable Unit!), you can set up the CnC_Visceroid as the default Startcharacter and it works...

The Chicken is a normal Soldier, it can be killed and it can kill.

You can't buy the Chicken in a normal game because it isn't available (even in the extras). Except a server is running a modified objects.aow...
