Unable to start Ren. [message #206459]

So.. I've been trying to play ren for weeks now. When I double click on ren it takes me to the wwconfig window I make sure everything is fine then press ok, it takes me to the game, the screen goes black with the hourglass cursor for a few seconds then crashes back to the desktop. I don't know what's causing this.. I've tried reinstalling many times but still nothing.
