Well here's the deal:
I'm having that serial problem that a lot of people seem to have. Here are the the stats:
1) When the error comes up, one thing i find strange is that the SID; is equal to 0.
2) Yes I've tried playing both with and without the TFD Patch.
3) Yes I've tried changing the registry file by adding the 0 (woldata0.key or something).
4) I've been looking all over the forums here and elsewhere and everyone seems to be fine with just changing the registry entry. So i'm guessing mine has to do something with that SID being 0. If it is how do I fix it?
5) If it's not, how do I fix it?
I really wanna play this game online guys, I primarily paid 60 buks to play just renegade with a friend of mine and i've spent the past 5 or so hours fiddling with this thing. Can anyone help at all? Anything would be appreciated.

Oh, and BTW, I know they say that you don't have to register with the little new account thing, so I'm guessing that is the reason that it won't send me a verification email? Can someone verify or deny this pls? Thx.

Well, I wanted to relive the old games again, since C&C is probobly the first computer game i've ever played. So I kinda owe my allegiance to gaming to C&C haha. Anyways, this is still annoying. I've tried running C&C: Generals now and it still isn't working. Same problem. WTH is going on. *Cries*
Edit: And yes, I've tried probobly 10 different WORKING nicknames (about 100 alltogether >.<)
