start a new single mission and set the diffuculty 2 commando try playing the game with only your pistol. if u do this every so often you will become quite good with the pistol. this is a very important skill to master if you are usually an engi or hotwire and can also come in handy when u run out of your main weapons ammo. Also try this with the sniper rifle, headshots will come easy 2 u.
