I want to play in n00bstories.
Says 31 players. I click join... OMFG WTF SERVER IS FULL??
Somthing needs to be dont to ither sto people frome IP joining with long annoying names or so that it counts them in the number of players in the server...

I was in jelly server and I fuckin hate it never an admin and there were 3 hackers with 1 shot kill on GDI and they were fuckin pissin me off!!!

It does that because xwis does not see the gamespy players ingame.
Getting into n00bstories can be rather hard but we have a new way if you stop by our home page and read about how you can win a reserved slot. Something new and unique to n00bstories.

I have the same problem, but I've noticed people tend to leave around when the map changes, or a couple minutes before or after. That's the best time to attempt to join.

Not as of yet, in the near future we may (were still discussing the fine details) have a way that if you donate X amount you will get on the list for X months (probably one or three). I hope to be able to start it next month.
For anyone else who cares the way it works is simple, there are 4 reserved slots past the 40 player limit. If you are not on the reserved spot list when the server hits 40 players it tells you the server is full and wont let you join. If you are on the list it lets you in and the server now has 41 players and 3 reserved spots. If a normal (not on the list) player leaves then it goes back to 40 players and 4 reserved spots open once again.
If this is something you (or anyone else) is intrested in PM me and give me some feedback. There is no sense it doing it if no one wants it.

let me take a stab in the dark here, but I think that means you wouldn't be able to join - for that to happen though 4 people with their names on the list (presumably a pretty small list) would have to have joined before ANYBODY left the game.
Seems like a really good system to me, means that the people who pay for the server can pretty much guarantee a space on it, lost count of the number of times I have been sat watching 16 mostly unknown players playing in the BBF server while i sit outside waiting for someone to leave.

you would then get server is full. But if you are on the list then only one person has to leave before you can get in. If your not on the list 5 people have to leave.
Since we have had it running that has not happened one though. The most I have seen is 42 so far.
