I have tried to extract all what's in the always.dat. The german always.dat is about 557MB.

RenegadeEX only extracts till it reaches approx. 5,500 files. The XCCmixer crashes while scanning after it has been loaded.

There are 16,109 files in the always.dat, so how can I extract all?

I think this happened to me once. I just extracted fractions of them one after the other.
