Hi,

I have a problem.... I have Renguard, but it always disconnects becuase of this.

[16:50] Trying to connect to server #1...Connected
[16:50] Secure link established.
[16:50] Welcome to RenGuard , shkkf!
[16:50] To launch Renegade, please click 'Renegade'.
[16:50] Bad/Corrupted file data\always.dbs has been found in your renegade directory
[16:50] Bad/Corrupted file data\Always2.dat has been found in your renegade directory
[16:50] Disconnected from RenGuard network

Now, I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it! Even uninstalled renguard and reinstalled it. removed the corrupt files and everything. But it still happens! It drives me nuts. Since even when I get to play then the host evicts me since they think I'm cheating!!!

I was wondering does someone know how to make shure this doesn't happen? Since it really is driving me crazy.

Sincerely shkkf

When you load up RenGuard, wait a few seconds before clicking "Renegade".

Update to Renegade version 1.037 before installing Renguard.

I will give you the download link to the patch. Select the language version of the game you own. (Usually engish)

Please click on which version of Renegade you have.

WARNING: Downloading a patch that doesn't go along with the version of the game you have will corrupt your game!

@cmatt42:
I have yet to see Renguard make a misconception about the always.dbs and the always2.dat. The only time I have seen that error occur was because somebody did not update to the 1.037 patch before installing Renguard, hence my post. However there is a first time for everything, and if shkkf has the 1.037 patch already than the problem lies elsewhere. My point is I never took your post for being wrong.
