RG Freeze up [message #199925]

Well I now got RenGuard to work (yey!) but now when I play in public Server, CW Servers, or anything else, my Ren will freeze. I cannot minimized, I cannot close it, I have to manually restart my PC.. This only happend when RG was installed so I know for a fact it was RenGuard

Please help!!

Do you have CorePatch 2 installed? You might be getting a crash, but because Renegade runs in fullscreen, you can't see the crash report window. CorePatch 2 fixes it by getting rid of the window and instead saving all relevant data to a file.

Do you have a firewall that is preventing Renegade from accessing the internet? There have been some cases where an anti-virus or firewall has popped up a message asking whether or not to allow Renegade to connect to the internet, but you can't see it because Renegade runs in fullscreen.
