I think the most powerful anti-infantry soldier is prolly an SBH with a fully loaded shotgun. You can blow people's brains out with 1 shot to the head, especialy snipers,because a lot of times they tend to stand still. The shotgun isen't as good for 1 shot kills as the noobjet/sniper is, but you will kill way more infantry with a shotgun SBH than an SBH sniper, unless you're on the under map.

Gufu? Holy fuck, dude. Its Carno from PPM, anyway.
Patch is certainly a good anti inf, gunner if used properly, all snipers, and the shotgun trooper...Chem isnt too bad either, but I prefer to toast tanks with that.

Hmm, gufu, you wouldn't happen to be on the xcom forums, would you?
Anti-infantry = VAR, TFR, Gunner rocket, and teh chaingun (Not the laser, the regular variety). Snipers of all shapes and sizes go on that list, as well as the shotgun if you can get close enough.
Of course, being stealth while weilding any of these can't hurt.

I tend to have an affinity for stealth sniping. One shot, one kill. Unless they feel like jumping around whenever they're in the open. I don't suppose it's fun to spazz around, however they do it.

Laser Rifles go to my newbie grunt soldiers who can't aim well. I usually order them to spray n pray at their targets.
Anybody who can hit the broad side of barn, however, gets a Heavy Plasma. They're the strongest non-grenade, non-single-shot weapon in the game, and with 35 shots per clip, there's more than enough to go around.
