Renegade corrupt file [message #198644]

I have found the problem that has causing my game to quite Renegade and return to windows!

Now I don't know how to fix it! If I remove the file, then the game can't start at all! My Renguard tells me this if this is usefull...

Could someone help me? This file is the reason that servers think i'm cheating! Ok, the renguard tells me that i'm banned for cheating since i'm using this file.

game2.exe runs Renegade itself, so you cant remove it

have you tried reinstalling rengaurd? or uninstalling it and trying the game?

have you downloaded a no-cd crack? they are not all supported by renguard, so make sure you download a supported game2.exe...

You mean the game itself? The game itself came from "the Command & Conquer The First Decade". But I'l to re-instal it and hope that it works.

No, he is referring to a NO-CD Crack or a fan made patch (djlaptop) that allows you to play without the disk in the CD-ROM drive.

The exe that comes with TFD doesn't require a disk.

I think there were similar problems to this, and the solution was to wait a bit longer before you click "Renegade" to launch it.

My game is from the First Decade yes.

But wait? I get messages that 2 of my maps aren't Windows made and every now and then Renegade shuts me from the game for "cheating". Tough deleting those files doesn't help. Even uninstalling and reinstalling it doesn't fix this.

I have a Renguard from 1 of the websites that you guys said... But still the same! And playing without Renguard??? Well, then most servers kick me of since I don't use it!
