LMFAO Ya im realy going to get Vise-Grip's and pull that bitch out LMFAO ( Im not one of these lil kids who play on mommys pc and know nuthing about them ) Funny stuff ... Well Still nuthing i have no f%$#^*@ idea what is up with it , no one has hade this error before come on ppl help me out im still playing Ren and all but with out rengurd and i dont what ppl to start !Rg me and tell me im cheat .... i switched pc's and found out (re)installing renegade was a problem...
i tried the tutorial on the renguard forums but they are a bit out dated.
ill explain the u have to take if u want to (re)install renegade.
- First thing u have to do is install renegade like u normaly would, use your own serial and stuff.
- Then u need to download the latest renegade patch (1.037) here.
- Start renegade up and goto the serverlistings, then quit renegade.
- download core patch 1 here.
- After u installed cp1 u need to start renegade and log on to wol(xwis) just goto the serverlistings screen and then exit renegade again.
[Note for McAfee users: u have to add "game.exe" from the renegade dir to your "allowes programes list"]
- Then download renguard from the offical renguard website found here
- Install renguard and start it, it will ask u f u want to install the latest corepatches, say 'yes' and just let it do it's thing.
- after its all done and renguard doesnt come whying about stuff and u wanna play renegade just start any shortcut made by u or the renegade insstallation or start "game.exe". If u wanna play renegade with out renguard start "game2.exe"
[Note for McAfee users: u have to add "game.exe" again (so remove it from the list and re-add it) and "Game2.exe" from the renegade dir to your "allowes programes list"]
this only works for the 'normal'/'orignal' renegade, so not for The First Decade

I used to get this problem periodically, but not persistently.
Now I am using Renegade on The First Decade for the first time, and will attempt to install Renguard go see if it works. Hopefully I will not get the same error...
