Install / uninstall with "normal" Renegade
Please check here.
Specifics for install with The First Decade
*MAKE SURE THERE IS A GAME.EXE IN YOUR RENEGADE DIRECTORY FIRST, IF SO CONTINUE WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW:
This is a very simple one step process:
Before attempting to install RenGuard, remove the "(tm)" from Renegade's file path. Example:
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Command & Conquer The First Decade\Command & Conquer Renegade(tm)\Renegade
Once removed RenGuard should install as normal.
OR
When installing RenGuard you can add the "(tm)" to the filepath RenGuard suggests. Example:
RenGuard may suggest this filepath:
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Command & Conquer The First Decade\Command & Conquer Renegade\Renegade
Add in the (tm) so it looks like this:
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Command & Conquer The First Decade\Command & Conquer Renegade(tm)\Renegade
If you're unsure of how to rename this filepath:
1. Right Click on the start button
2. Click explore
3. Navigate to the The First Decade's dir(take note of it when installing)
4. Right click on the "Command & Conquer Renegade(tm)" folder
5. Remove the (tm)
