Aight, so I didnt see any other threads for this problem, maybe I'm just an idiot oh well lol.
It lets me connect to the WOL server, but when I try to get a server listing, it says no servers. Yet when I go to a friends place, I can play just fine. I've chedked firewall and its allowing anything related to renegade.

Um, when you first try to logon, does it say invalid serial? Check the little window that pops up.
Because that's a major problem with many people.

nope, renegade loads. I click on westwood online. it shows my death etc and ranking thingy in the box. when I try to veiw server listing though, it says no servers listed at my place, but at my friends place, I see all the normal servers, nonnoobs, ren-server etc.

No I mean the little window that pops up saying after you see the little box that shows your kills, deaths, etc. The one that pops up after you put in your name and password and hit login.
It should say something along the lines of "Connected to XCC online!" and or it should say something about an error that occured while trying to connect to XCC online.
The box should look something like this(it might say something different):

I HAVE THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM AS THE FIRST 1 I LOGIN PERFECTLY but I SEE NO LISTINGS however there is no message box as shown b4 telling me i have invalid serrial
also if u have buddies u can see THEM IN a game and when u clik join buddy IT SAYS UR PASSWORD IS INVALID TRY THAT WE PROBABLY HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT to do does anyone KNOW if a system restore wood work or anytin
IF U HAVE AN IDEA MY SUMITION IS POSTED UP AT TOP PLEASE REPLY

NO my password is fine i can log in with my password what can be wrong wit it?? just when i clik to join buddy its error "youre passwrod is invalid" no what does invalid mean my password does work???????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????

When you want to join your buddy it tries to connect you to the same server he is in. Apparently the server he is in is password-protected. Just find the same server on the list and join it from there instead.
I'm the bawss.
