Me and alot/few other people keep getting the "game.exe" error saying its currupted and that we are cheating. The recent addition of the No CD renegaurd exe patch seems to be causing this problem and needs to be adressed. I dislike having to download and then reinstall constantly the game2.exe file just because of some error with renegaurd and the fact that it calls you a cheater worries and pisses some people off. I suggest you look into this before renegaurd starts "banning" people for something you released and making THEM pay YOU
That means you got banned for trying to exploit RenGuard with the name of username by using one of 2 blacklisted "game2modded.exe" files, that try to exploit a RenGuard bug that has been fixed months ago. This detection method is 100% legit and it has no false positives.
I don't believe it for a second considering the befor post. By saying the game2.exe is currupt for not even touching it is a false postitive. Fix it or more gammers will be angered

isnt is strange how renguard works for most people, and those who have problems can usually come here and politly ask for help.
and then you get a few idiots who come screaming and shouting and raging about software they have never donated to, and yet expect to be perfect.
you want a perfect renguard? get off your backside and donate to them, make your own anti-cheat software for renegade, or quit your whining and let them get on with 1.4
If you want help try asking without the sarcastic comments and such, and maybe people will be more inclined to help you

And what is wrong with my post. Im asking nicely and im telling them there IS a problem that occures randomly. I have had the new patch for when ever it came out and all of the sudden some people get currupts and they have to be fixed. Its nice to LET them know that people are having issues. Your post is a wast of space.
Whats with the tardyness like they do a good job and theres nothing wrong with the softwear, but there is a flaw if the program miss gives out cheating tickets. Grow up.

Could you PM me a copy of your game2.exe please? I can compare it against mine (which is the TFD game2 that JonWil posted and is known-good from RG's perspective) to see if it's really RenGuard at fault here. P.S. are you using the game2 from TFD?

doesnt make sense, i reboot wont work
i tried again to read actual verbage and it works just fine
well it isnt actually working
whats up?
any log files i can have 2k run that will show us what might be causing this?

So you get the buffer overun error. Do you use Windows 2000 or a 64-bit - operating system? that would explain because RG doesn't support those and then gives this error.
The next version of RG which is now being tested, will support them!

It can work but it doesn't support it, meaning it can also not work (which usually is what happens).
I propose you go to the forums of the server(s) you want to play on and you explain who you are, what's your problem and ask nicely to take it in account so you don't get !forcerg'ed. You can play with game2.exe without RG

umm apperntly you dont know whats happening. CORE PATCH 2 AUTOMATICLY DOWNLOADS NO CD. Unless its not supposed to. In that case it did for me and things wen't screwy. I dont doubt the ability of the creators but this "false cheating" thing needs to be fixed. I love how all the forum people (not including developers) know the answers to nothing.

If you believe your Game2.exe was corrupted from CorePatch 2, you may re-download it. Attached to this message is the Game2.exe which I use (it should be the one installed from CorePatch 2, which is the one from The First Decade, which does not require your CD).
