I know there was a past topic on this but it didnt make much sence.

But my question is I do see this in the FDS

By that i mean the commands to play music...
then theres this in the ssaow.
; EnableSoundtrack=
; Do not enable this.

EnableSoundtrack=0

; SoundtrackPlayforall=
; bleh blah

SoundtrackPlayforall=0

; SoundtrackShowpage=
; bleh blah

SoundtrackShowpage=0

My question is how would i play music????
I dont see why even put this if it doesnt work???

I remember on my old server ( which was running on BR) a buddy of mine who had FTP access was doing idk what but everyone was hearing music...

Then he spammed me with a boink :S

I also recall you had to use always.dat but i cant open it without a program that i dont have Sad

theres also some other good extracting softs but i find this one the easyest to use

I think musica plays an mp3 file from Renegade for all players, and musicp plays an mp3 file from Renegade for a specific player. Try looking and seeing the descriptions for the different music commands and different snd commands, because I got them to work when I was hosting, you just have to know the filenames of the music/sounds you want to play.

hum duno wt to do with that, but did u put every thing in the same file from the zip? also do u have ren installed (with out a corrupt always.dat file)

also try puting the folder in a simple file like "c:\Xcc\"
