White screen/list index problem [message #192743]

When I start RG through the n00bless RenConnect, i get the whitescreen everyone's been talking about where it can't fetch the server. When I start RG any other way, the CP2 update begins, until i hit this point:
index.php?t=getfile&id=820&private=0

please help
