White screen, not responding [message #192582]

Hello,
I just downloaded renguard, sett it upp and tryed running it but it freezes on an white screen doing nothing and giving not responding error and i dont see the run button for renegade so i cant get in game Dont Get It

I have version the latest version and i haved played 1 server whitout renguard.

If any one knows the solution to this problem i would gladly like to hear from him

If you can provide a screenshot that would be helpful.
Make sure your firewall software is not blocking RenGuards http connection which fetches the MOTD that goes in the white window.

Try right clicking it in the task bar and do maximalise. Sometimes that does the trick.

Well actualy the option to maximise is gray so i cant choose it and i tried turning off my fierwall but that did not do the trick

( sorry for the bother but im new to computer, just got one so can you post an noobie guide if you find the solution In Love

or is there not any other way to avoid going through the screen im having problem whit and just go straigth in to the game.

You can always launch the game *without* Renguard by browsing to your renegade folder (usually C:\Westwood\Renegade\ or C:\Program Files\Westwood\Renegade), and double-clicking game2.exe

As for your problem, from the screenshots you provided it looks like RenGuard is either crashing or hanging for some reson.

Can you tell what Operating System you are running? And have you tried temporarily disabling your windows firewall to see if that helps?

im using windows xp proffesional 2002

and i have tried disabeling fierwall and then loging but nothing seem to do it.

guess ill run the game whitout renguard, most easy way i think Whats That

hopeing for an solution.

actualy i have ran renguard on this computer before but its long while ago and it has been too some fixes and then devices have been changed and the latest new thing on is some kinda
VIA RAID toool im not sure what it is but , meigth that be the problem.
