Just as the title says, I'd like to know where I can get CP1; I'm new to the site, so please don't be to harsh.

There are a couple of known problems with that Core Patch 1 installer.
We (BHS) recommend following these instructions here
http://www.renegadeforums.com/index.php?t=msg&th=18892&a mp;start=0&rid=40
And downloading the patchall.zip that will give you both Core Patch 1 and Core Patch 2.
