Despite the wierd name, OGame is actually very addicting and it's free. It's also text based so you don't need to play it on your computer - you can play it just about anywhere. Before we hear the OMG OUTWAR!!1oneone it's actually not even close to that. If you've ever played Eve Online or X3 it's similar to that.

Seems pretty cool, I needed something new to play.

When history witnesses a great change, Razgriz reveals itself,
First as a dark demon,
