C&C, C&C Red Alert, and C&C Red Alert Retalation (all for PS1) all has cheats. It was fun to see whole masses of enemy troops shrivel up and burn when dropping a nuke bomb on them after decemating their base with cheats. Have you ever seen 20 warthogs on the screen at once? With their fuel bombs, you can make some pretty spectacular special effects, even if it is only 2d( :rolleyes: ). Cheating for the consoles rocked, and everyone else who has played C&C on them should agree. The only down side was the order in which you press the buttons. All codes were 6 buttons long. If you only pressed 4, then tryed to input the 6, it wouldnt work. You'd have to press 2 more buttons, then do the 6 again. It gets annoying when your base is getting overrun with Heavey Tanks and you could really use that extra $1000  .

No C&C game has EVER been created with cheat codes for single-player.

Except he's right. There are no cheat codes in any C&C games. File editing doesn't count (rules.ini etc)

Well I guess that's what I can expect from posting in a forum of 12-year-olds. Oh well. Yes, I used trainers for RA and Tiberian Sun quite extensively, and no I don't count them as cheat codes.

Pretending like you are older or more mature than everyone else isn't working. We have all seen this before, some little kid comes on, thinking if he pretends like he's older than everyone, trying too hard to look bigger, maybe they'll actually think he is.
Trainers and hacks and the such aren't cheat codes, but they are cheats.

ok, you guys got WAY off topic, what i was talking about was the extra ending you tag onto the pathway, then you press f8 during the game and type stuff like "godmode" and "allguns", was it patched? or was it never even incorperated into the game? cause i see it all over the internet, and whenever i try it, it diesn't work

I play renegade all the time, but unlike the modders who post all of their accomplishments on their sig, all I can post is what I had for dinner last night (meat loaf and green beans)

no such thing as allguns or godmode code for Ren
only extra units that brings Nod to have the advantage and does not work in ladder game.
Since the acturally code was not release to unlock them properly there is no point of getting the work around one.

if u bring up the command menu and type edit_veichle (i think i spelt it wrong!) then u can change the stats of the veichle ur in, this doesnt include armour, weapons etc. but can make a unit faster and more maneuverable, eg making a mamoth tank handle like a buggy. be carefull not to set the air res. over 100 though. but it does look kinda cool... :twisted:

That is irrevelent, but to answer your question, the only SP mod I know of is the Golden God mod.

Basically what this does is speed up your havoc in single player greatly, and make him jump very high. It also gives him a repair gun along with a few other 'multiplayer only' weapons. I heard from a friend that he was able to use it online to use the repair-beam second function to actually hurt enemies...well you can use the red-burning beam in single player as second function..but it seems that if you try this online you won't even get a games list in the listings section.
Try removing the file, booting up Renegade then adding the file back into the data directory and starting a game...I tried this once, it didn't seem to work for me. Still, worth a try...
