How to play other maps in Multiplayer Practice? Please Help [message #187664]

Recruit

Im played that map in Multiplayer Practice, it's too easy. I want to play other maps in Multiplayer Practice. I tried to start a Multiplayer LAN game, but it says "no ip found", so that didn't work. Anyways, please help, whatever ways you have to play other maps with computer without Internet.

Library has access to Internet. Friend's computer. A differant computer that has Internet, but isn't good enough to play Renegade. Think before you post, please.

You can play other maps, but only that one has computer characters, and the rest are only good to play without bots if you want to maybe try a rush tactic without interferance.

You can change the practice map cycle by editting the svrcfg_skirmish.ini file in thr Renegade\Data folder.

This program makes it way easier. Rocked Over

if you wanna play with bots, you'll have to download some AI maps and put them in the data folder.

OK, thanks for all the helps. BUT the problem is Multiplayer LAN game won't work. When I click on the Multiplayer LAN botton on the main menu, it will always says: No LAN ip found What can I do? Yes, I have Internet, but the computer that I play games on don't have Internet, and it's far away, so I play all my games with bots.

You need to be connected to a Network, to open a LAN-Game

I have a network card, but it's not connected to a network, how to play some other map without connect to a network?

Download http://uesclan.com/uescat998/Scripts222.rar

Put the files bhs.dll scripts.dll and scripts2.dll into your Renegade folder (replace them there).

Start Renegade

Click on pratic mode.

When map is loaded open up the console with F8 and type

mlistc 1 C&C_nameofyourmap.mix

Then open up the console again and type

win 1

It should load your map now.

It is not the only map with bots. Someone had added bots to all the original maps awhile back and renamed the maps. I cannot find them right now but they have names like C&C_Field_AI for example.

All you have to do is download those maps on that site, place them in your Renegade\Data folder, open and edit your skirmish.ini like the following:

Where the entry "MapName00=C&C_Skirmish.mix begins, add these after that entry:

MapName01=C&C_Field_AI.mix
MapName02=C&C_Volcano_AI.mix
MapName03=C&C_Walls_AI.mix
MapName04=C&C_City_AI.mix
MapName05=C&C_Canyon_AI.mix
MapName06=C&C_Hourglass_AI.mix
MapName07=C&C_Mesa_AI.mix
MapName08=C&C_Islands_AI.mix
MapName09=C&C_Complex_AI.mix

If there are any errors, someone please correct me as I said this from memory.
