I installed rengaurd and it says welcome everytime I click on renegade to play online or otherwise. When I am playing multiplayer internet people are kicking me from games because they show that I am not using rengaurd. What am I doing wrong?

Check if the name you play on is the same name as it gives in the renguard window. If you change your name, you need to restart.
Other than that, moderators can still kick you if they like, only !forcerg won't work as you obviously have renguard...
