For people who have experienced the nickname fix issue (where someone uses a bad nickname and doesnt get blocked), do you get the "Player with invalid nickname blocked, player IP was 1.2.3.4" message?
Describe the exploit (i.e. what was the nickname the exploiter used and what side effects happened when he joined)
Was the server running on GameSpy or WOL? (if running something like WolSpy that lets the server be on both and you can identfy which connection method the bad guy was using, include that too)
Any other information would be usefull, so far I am unable to reproduce this problem in any of my own tests. (although I still have to do some tests on a server cofigured as WOL or WOL with WolSpy)

I just redownload SSAOW 1.4 and tried some stuff, this is what I got:
When trying to join with the hostname, Ren crashes so yea that works. - I get that Player with invalid nickname blocked message
When I joined as someone ingame, I take there place. The Player with invalid nickname blocked message comes up and get kicked after 2 minutes.
