Not so quick there! Fujitsu has the worst reputation when it comes to the reliability of their hard drives, I experienced issues myself 2 years passed the time of the purchase.

I've got a sexy 40gb HD in my laptop. I also grabbed a small laptop like HD from some weird looking big Mp3 player, I cant quite remember what it was called. It had a 6Gb HD. I was able to format it and throw it into my not so good laptop.

I would disagree. I've had 3 Fujitsu drives... Two of them are one of the first 3GB drives they came out with... and I still use them today with no problems what so ever. I've had two other drives fail on me in that time, but the Fujitsu drives have never faltered for me.
