I personally have never had any problems with ATi drivers. I have always been able to download them, install, and be done. What kind of problems were you having?

They would all do the exact same thing. They would give an error when the computer starts up and then crash. It was impossible to get into the control panel too. Sometimes games would randomly freeze. The only way I've ever gone around these problems was to rollback the driver to a much older version.

I have never had that problem, and I do not think my friend has either. But I do know that alot of people hate ATi drivers.

Guess so. Maybe ATi will improve there drivers in time to win some fans over and catch up with Nvidia. They are not too far behind anyway, just a matter of time I guess.
