Hehe, just make sure you don't get a PCI video card.
EDIT: How much are you thinking about spending? I got bored and went there to customize a PC to see how much it would cost. For $960 USD you get:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800 (Dual Core)
MSI K8N NEO4-F nForce 4 Chipset SATA Raid PCI-E w/GbLAN, 7.1 Audio
1024MB (512MBx2) PC3200 400MHz Dual Channel DDR MEMORY (Corsair Value Select)
nVIDIA Geforce 6800 256MB PCI-E
80GB Seagate SATA150 7200RPM 8MB Cache Hard Drive
Xplorer Mid-Tower Case WINDOW & LCD Temperature Display
NZXT PF-500 500Watt Power Supply
LG GWA-4161 16X DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW DRIVE DUAL LAYER
No monitor
No OS
I'd say that's a pretty damn good deal on a website like that. That's definitely comparable to Newegg. And dual core processors ROCK.

As of now, my budget is a little bit low end. I currently have $200. And if I can sell my computer for 400, (hopingly), then that gets me closer to my goal. I guess my overall budget is targeted at around 600 - 700. I also have a hobby selling web templates, but I have not sold much of any lately. I could also make a deal with my parents to "pitch in".

Just from the look of your signature, I can tell you've improved a lot in your graphical abilities. I remember the days of your Renegade site. You should really be proud of yourself.

I guess it seems as though I should try to sell it for $400. I just sold another two web templates today so that brought me up $50. I am probobly going to raise my budget to around 800-900 for my new pc. PCI-E was my first choice of graphics card type.
I was thinking about going to ATI's CrossFire Technology but I do not know how "advanced" it really is. And according to a magazine I have, Nvidia's top card still whooped ass on ATI's new x1800 series...

He doesn't like either SLi or Crossfire, the as the performance boost for the amount you're spending is minimal most of the time.
ATi's solution may be cheaper, but at the moment you're likely to get more performance out of an Nvidia card than an ATi card.

(Comparing ATI X1800XT & Nvidia 7800 GTX on highest settings, resolution, etc for each game. Comparing average FPS.)
[Doom 3]
ATI : 57
NVIDIA : 69.1
[FarCry]
ATI : 93.3
NVIDIA : 72.2
[Half Life 2]
ATI : 116.86
NVIDIA : 120.42
[Battlefield 2]
ATI : 87.9
NVIDIA : 94.57
Nvidia proves to be better of a card. And thats not just between those two cards. There are tests they did between more, I don't have time to post all the FPS ratings, etc so I will post the results.
Nvidia 7800 GTX > ATI X1800XT
Nvidia 7800 GT > ATI X1800XL
Nvidia 6800 Ultra > ATI X1600XT
Nvidia 6600 GT > ATI X1300 Pro
