/Agree.
I don't do Christmas at my house. I have to do Christmas twice a year. Once for one side of my family on Christmas Eve, and the once for the other side on Christmas. Eventually after having to do one side, come home, sleep, do home Christmas, and then go and do the other side, we decided we were through with it. Much better to get stuff all through out the year than to stop getting anything around August-ish, and then get it in mass at Christmas.

xtaro wrote on Sun, 25 December 2005 00:27 | For tha past 10 years, our family has not had a tree, instead we have built a Christmas cross each year, to symbolize the meaning of the birth of Christ. anyhoo they started out simple but in the past 5 years we have started putting scenes in them and really going all out on the thing. takes usually about a month and it really looks neat. no cam or i would show yall this years.

I've never understood the obsession with crosses by Christians.. I would think that a crucifix would be the LAST thing he would want to see when he returned.. In fact, I bet he will cringe every time he looks at one.. I would.
If you really want to remember his sacrifice for you.. smear blood all over your house and body.. the suffering for man's sins occured in the garden, not on the cross.
