I'm finally getting a new computer soon (building it from newegg.com), including shipping, it'll be about $985, $180 of which is the monitor. I'm getting:
MSI K8N Neo4-F Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4
AMD Athlon 64 3200+
Corsair 2 x 512MB DDR 400 PC3200
Geforce 6600GT 128MB
Maxtor 100GB HDD
Microsoft Windows XP Professional X64 Edition
A 19" CRT Monitor
One question. Which is better, the Geforce 6600 256MB, or the Geforce 6600GT 128MB? The 256MB 6600 is about $20 less, but is the more memory worth the less performance and $20 less?
Also, I have $55 in donations right now, and will have $900 in about a week for some paid modeling work, so I'm short about $30.
