How do I get the commands to work? [message #182899]

Recruit

Whenever I type !rules nothing shows up... I tried almost everything that I could possibly think of, read several things, and no help.
I do have BR connected to the FDS but I can't use any of the commands.

This is my server.
I have BlazeRegulator connected to it.
No mods are running.
I'm using a FDS NOT hosting straight through WOL/GameSpy
I have tryed with and without Renguard, even others in my server tryed

we need more information than that...

is this your own server, or someone else's?

Do you run renguard?

If it is your server what modifications (if any) are installed on it?

If it's not your server is it a particular one?

ok, its better if you put them in a new post or mention you edited it, for future reference Wink

I have little experience with BlazeRegulator, I would suggest using BrenBot instead, but that's simply personal preference. Perhaps someone with more experience with BlazeRegulator will post something more helpful.

Check that the RemoteAdmin settings in the config files match, thats a common reason for commands not working. Also ensure in the fds server.ini you have set

AllowRemoteAdmin = true
