I know that BHS is developing a patch that will fix this, but oin my regular computer, I do get this sometimes, but I just switch from game.exe to Renegade.exe and vice versa. But now on my new laptop I ALWAYS get that error message! Is there anything that could help?
I heard of some kind of system library files, would that do anything? Or is that the cause?

Renegade.exe just points to game.exe I think. Either way they always do the exact same thing as the other.
This is an RG issue and is known, and will be fixed. You can find plenty of explaination by searching this forum.
