There is free version of gamespy arcade I thought that you could just download and install. But they also try, to get you to buy the full GSA version, wich costs money. You don't need the full version.
So it doesn't matter if you bought the game or the gamepack.
Size doesn't matter.

I think there's gamespy3d that works just fine as well, just no chat interface. Which is probably for the best
