Well, BURGER died. It was a retarded name and just... retarded. Anyway, me and ChR0nUsx have decided to make a new clan on the manual league as well (www.clanwars.cc). We currently have a TeamSpeak and forums up. Soon we will have a clanwar server and a website. We are looking for people who would like to start playing Renegade competitively. We also need people who are good with IRC. Anyone is able to join, but please be aware that you MUST be trained in clanwars before you play. oh yes! public servers are ever so difficult. get real nubfase, whenever i play in a public server, i get MVP without even trying. i just do what id normally do in a clan war game and i end up winning. you obviously didn't take the time to learn how to play a clan war game, or else we wouldn't be having this conversation.

That is a stupid statement. CW's are all about teamwork and you state that you work in team on your own in public games. That seems pretty impossible to me unless u have multiple personnalities or something... You're not gonna change a 10v10 game all by yourself, even if you play with complete n00bs.
I got some CW-experience and i like playing CW's now and then WITH MY COMMUNITY. But then we're speaking of 3v3 up to 9v9 games. Do you know how it feels to have to lead a team of 8 different persons to work together in a CW? It's freaking difficult and it requires all those other people to respect you and to listen to what you tell them and then execute it at best.
1v1 and 2v2 games frankly - and I did play lots of them - blow. Renegade is a teamplay game.
Now if you really want to do something clan-related, join in an existing clan (on clanwars.cc or not) and try to maket hem better. And you'll probably learn something yourself then too. But you'll have to change attitude to be able to stay in any decent clan longer than some weeks...

Yeah I agree. I'm not saying 1v1's or 2v2's suck. But games over 3 are definitly better. (Because of the more strategies that can be done) 1v1's do give away the skill that a individual person has though) But there's still this thing called ''leadership and teamwork''.
As for the public faggots..most of us here probably play for the fun..and don't want to be the best in this game. Ofcourse having a competitive game is fun, don't get me wrong here. But not everyone can play each day or in each week of every month. And being in a clan you can't just say lets not play for a month because that wouldn't be really fair to your teammates and that wouldn't improve the clan really.
meh.. if I had the time I would play cw's thoug! But now and then just a game in NoN00bs and other servers is kool

thats different JP, because you WERE a clan war player. i know you used to play a lot because i cw'd you a buncha times back when i was in Xil. u were with JTEK correct?
and Goztow, just to prove a point to you. how about we set up a fun game, you get as many as you can get on this weekend (Friday or Saturday whichever is best for you) from your KOSS clan, preferably the best members, and ill match how ever many you got with my inexperienced clan war players. i havent played a clan war yet with these guys, but i guaruntee we would rape you.

you're dead wrong... the smaller the game is, the more skill and teamwork you need to win it... the bigger the game is, the more likely you can win by putting less effort it. It's simple maths, let's say it's a 20v20. If you do nothing all game you still have something just under 50% chance of winning, since it's 19v20. Compare that to 2v2... unless your teammate is heroic, forget it.

Large games and smaller games are completely different though. I think he was mostly pointing out that the lacking of teamwork in a 1v1-3v3 is the "team" part since there's only 1 or 2 other people (well, at least that's what i got out of his statement). People who are play larger games most or all the time are (under normal circumstances) better at those larger games than people who play smaller ones most or all the time and vice versa.. Of course you need some skill to win the games. In my opinion it's best for any single person to try to play a mix of the games. You can learn more that way. Although playing a huge game probably wouldn't be so much since whatever you do it won't have as much effect because there's more people to hinder you. (8v8 is usually a good number)
I do agree that it takes a lot of effort to get more people to do what you want in order to win. That's probably where a lot of people fail at. You know.. Like rushing out and they're all aiming at different tanks or something on Field. For me it just isn't so much fun when playing a smaller game to a bigger one. It just gets boring.
