My guess is that someone else uses, the same serial..
With WOL if you would play with 2 diff IP one SN= possible.

And with 3ip's 1 SN= not possible.

Yeah, but all the MP servers have 996 ping, heh heh. The ones I get, anyway.

uhuh, I hope you don't mean IN the game, outside when you look at the server list there is alot more with 999 ping. That doesn't mean the actualy ping is 999 it's just the the server will most likely have a dedicated firewall which blocks incomming ICMP.

@trooper no im not 100% sure, but on the strike team forum I read something about the WOL transition and it said it would take the serial data base from EA and it would not alow people to use more people on a serial. I can't find it right now but I'm sure I read something simmilair like this.

I like the mod when you login btw, it will really help I think.
Maybe some basic rules too?

And using the same serial as before?

Ok, so I would:
1.Install with my serial
2.update to 1.037
3.Install renguard
4.apply the no-cd crack

and it should work?

another thing, xwis says that we don't need that tool anymore, well if I don't manually set it to xwis, it won't connect for me...

Also, you install the no cd crack after the 1.037 patch, before rengaurd.

What? Huh I have ALWAYS installed the no-cd crack first, I remeber long ago I did it differently and renguard wouldn't start up...

If you do the no-cd fix before you patch, it will just patch over it and it won't work.

No, Rengaurd is not first. Renegade is first, Rengaurd falls near the bottom. This is the last part of my read me file I use after I jack up Windows.

7. reinstall 1.037 patch
8. reinstall no_cd_crack
9. Install Rengaurd
10. install CP1
11. Restart Computer
12. run the configuration for renegade, then the extended configuration in the patch folder.
13. move your wave files back to the data folder.
14. Start the game, bypass the registration and go to Westwood on-line, login mision08
15. reset q is laser.
16. alt tab to desktop and allow renegade to bypass firewall.
17. replace the lucidia font with the following arial text in the stylemgr configuration settings in the data folder.

FONT_INGAME_TXT=Arial MT, 8, 0
FONT_INGAME_BIG_TXT=Arial MT, 16, 0
FONT_INGAME_SUBTITLE_TXT=Arial MT, 14, 0
FONT_INGAME_HEADER_TXT=Arial MT, 9, 1
