I know alot of you have gamed with Hazteam before and since you are all part of the family of Renegade gamers i feel you should probably know this as well. One of our beloved members has tradgically fallen ill as of late and we (at Hazteam) are slightly shocked by this. This gamer is the embodyment of everything that a gamer should be. Fair, fun loving and a pleasure to play with. Her name is Gunny one of the longtime members of Hazteam and indeed the renegade family.
For those of you who do know Gunny and would like to share your good will and get well messages please do so on HT forums. This is a tradgic time and hopefully our combined prayers can do something to help her.

Thank you all,
James

She has spinal / brain cancer.
Gunny -- If you happen to make it to this thread, I have words of encouragement for you. A man I know well was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancerous tumor in his occipital lobe. He had been experiencing severe headaches, and occasionally his vision would get dark and foggy. The doctors expected him to become blind within just a few weeks, and only gave him several months to live. That was almost 2 years ago now, he is now in remission, and has the same vision he had before it all started.
For a while there, it didn't look like he had much of a chance of survival, he was extremely sick from the chemo, and the effects of the tumor were terrible, he had slurred speech, and poor mobility due to the pressure of the tumor on the rest of his brain. They did a very risky operation to remove as much of the tumor as they could, and within a few weeks, he suddenly returned to normal, no traces of cancerous material in his brain anymore.
Miracles do happen, so pray every day, and never EVER give up. Fight the cancer right to the bitter end of it!

I've sent an email to Gunny regarding a possible community donation fund. As soon as I hear back from her, I will let you guys know what is happening, and how to donate.
I'll get the ball rolling with a $50.00 cnd donation as soon as we get a paypal account setup for her, or something similar.

But why is a thread about her medical problems an appropriate place to express your dislike of someone? If someone posted that someone I didn't like was dying or very ill, I would have simply NOT responded to it.

But you said MORE than that. You said "I feel sorry Gunny is sick" then went off on a short tirade about how she acts in game. I and many others will agree that it was inappropriate and irrelevant.
I'm the bawss.

haha well, well.maybe ACK is 2 much into Renegade which is why he seems to talk alot about it even tho it may seem inappropriate in such a topic.well dun get me wrong.im not sayin his post was inappropriate.im just stayin neutral in this argument and i agree that we should stop bickering over such a trivial matter:)n his majority of the post is still on-topic so..stop arguin!peace:)
as for gunny, tho i may not know her at all.i can still sympathise with her gettin cancer as e pain a person has to go through is not what we can ever imagine since we are not experiencing the same illness as her.i pray she gets well too.and she'll if it's God's will=)
