If you get the professional edition of ad-aware, their pop-up blocker works quite well. Also, an easier way than to deal with pop-ups, disable java and javascript. That'll nearly neutralize all pop-ups.

At Sarah's house, right now, I have to use Firefox and it's horrible compared to what Opera is capable of. It's even worse than the last time I used it. I don't see any pop-up blocker, there's little functionality implemented with the new "tabs" and the browser itself runs slow and inefficiently compared to Opera.

The thread's purpose is for pop-up blockers, not our opinions on Firefox and Opera.

How many pop-ups do you ppl get that you have to complain about them? 99.9% of my pop-ups come from "xxx" and "password" sites. If i don't count that then i get less then 5 pop-ups a week.
IE 6 no pop-up blocker at all.
