This is a known problem with Windows 2000. Either wait for RenGuard 1.04 (you may still be able to get into the private beta if you donate some $$$, ask Crimson) or use a different (preferrably newer) operating system, such as Windows XP.

Doesn't cost you anything, the donations were for a new protection and as a reward you recieved Beta 1 as a thanks from us. Read the front page news on www.renguard.com for details on how to enter.

Nothing is impossible, somethings just requires alot of time.
"Impossible" things done so far together with SK:
RenRem Protocol - Custom Checksum/Encryption
HL2 FileSystem replacement
C&C95 Multiplayer under XP with up to 4 players
